Parent companies and local businesses joined us on 17 May for an evening of corporate networking.

No matter in which industry we work, we will all at some time, in our private or corporate life, have need of a dentist or doctor, builder or architect, real estate agent or surveyor, caterer or function venue, lawyer or accountant.

Last year, we hosted our first Corporate Networking Evening to share news of corporate partnership opportunities, and to facilitate a meet-and-greet for our parent-owned businesses, and local traders. The event was a huge success and feedback has confirmed that business was conducted, as a direct result of connections made at the CHAC event.

To that end, on 17 May we hosted the second Corporate Networking Evening, to bring together those who wished to connect, and to help build trade and industry amongst our local corporate and parent community.

The rare opportunity to join a private networking function of business folk who share a common interest was once again very successful, with over 60 guests enjoying meaningful networking - with the opportunity to meet and greet a vast array of business people through the Corporate Speed Dating hour.

This annual event not only brings together our local businesses, but it also value-adds to the journey of our parents at the College. After all, the school years are the times of their lives too!
