Hailed "the best College Musical yet", participants in this year's performance - both on stage and behind the scenes - have every right to be proud of their commitment, skills and comaraderie.

Over four performances, CHAC students delivered stunning performances - singing, acting and dancing their way through Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's famous musical adaptation of the book by Arthur Laurents. And behind the scences, the orchestra belied their young years as they delivered the difficult score.

The stage and tech crews worked silently and seamlessly to support those on stage, while eyes were drawn to colourful costumes, imaginative sets and complementary lighting.

As Director, Ms Carmel Mungavin said, "As always, the Musical is about so much more than what you see on stage. It is about building trust and relationships, being challenged and maintaining dedication. Most of all, it is about learning about the rewards that can be reaped from committing passionately to a large community project. Certainly it is the sum of hours of work from students, teachers, staff and parents and as always, we are so grateful for the dedication of all who have worked so tirelessly."
